RUNNING THE SHOW: CROSS COUNTRY CLINCHES 4TH STRAIGHT DISTRICT TITLE
The Blue Jay cross country team clinched the District 9-5A championship, with senior Brady Mullen leading the way. Mullen, last season’s state champion, finished the 3-mile course in 14:36, 20 seconds ahead of his closest teammate, Brady Monahan. Jesuit’s top five runners all placed within the top six, earning the team a dominant 18 points and securing a clear victory over Brother Martin, who scored 42 points. Mullen, committed to Harvard, noted his comfort in the warm weather, similar to when he set a record in the state track championships. The Jays are now set to defend their state title.
