JUST HITS DIFFERENT: WORLD GOES ‘ROUND GOES LIVE
Friday’s Morning Assembly “just hit different” as Mr. Cragin ‘06 took the mic and encouraged the Jays to make the smart choice this weekend to see the Phil’s production of The World Goes ‘Round. Opening Thursday, November 14th, The World Goes ‘Round is a musical review of the songs of Kander and Ebb. Every student and faculty member has been provided with two free tickets. Shows run through the weekend with times of 7pm on Friday and 2pm and 7pm on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased on the Jesuit website or at the link below.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL 25 TOURNAMENT CROWNS CHAMPION
After a month of intense action in the Commons, the College Football 25 tournament came to a close as Gianni Irula was crowned champion. After winning his semi-final game against Ed “Sully” Sullivan, Gianni, who plays as Tennessee, defeated Rex Foti, who plays as Oklahoma, in the championship game by a score of 21-7. The tournament raised money to benefit Catholic Charities in the hurricane devastated regions of the Carolinas.

MCJROTC HONORS VETERANS AT MONDAY’S MORNING ASSEMBLY
At Monday's Morning Assembly, the MCJROTC honored the brave men and women who have served our country. Lt. Col. Craig Himel ’91 thanked the Jesuit faculty and staff who served in one of the armed forces, including Mr. Dave Sansone, Mr. Carl L. Smith, Mr. Kenny Boudreaux, MGySgt. J.R. Piseno, and Ms. Pam Catalano. To all those who have served, Jesuit offers as a sincere thank you for your service and for being true men and women for others.

HOMESTRETCH: INTRAMURAL REGULAR SEASON COMES TO A CLOSE
Friday concluded the final regular season games and it looks like the cream has risen to the top with Settis Clan and Miraflor’s Monsters remaining in the top two seeds. For Duris Lee Elite, it’s win and you’re in. The playoffs will begin next week with both the upper division and the lower division games taking place on Will Clark field. For the updated playoff bracket, check IMLeagues or with speak with Coach Martin.

ARABELLA HINYUB CROWNED HOMECOMING QUEEN, COURT HONORED AT HALFTIME
At halftime of the football game against Rummel, Jesuit showcased the 2024 Homecoming Court in a formal presentation. Following performances from the marching band and Jayettes, the Homecoming Court was introduced. Fr. John Brown, S.J., crowned the homecoming queen, Arabella Hinyub, and who was elected by the senior class. The rest of the court are as follows: Mary-Katherine Werling, Cecille Guste, Caroline Garitty, Audrey Brown, Millie McDaniel, Mia Pacaccio. Congratulations to all of the Homecoming Court.
