Javengers: Jendgame
The lastest from the newly formed Gizzard Studios, Javengers: Jendgame sees Captain Jamerica attempting to restore Blue Jay Spirit with help of some new friends and defeat Bearnos once and for all.
JAVENGERS! JASSEMBLE!
After the events of Javengers: Jinfinity War, Captain Jamerica searches for answers on how to defeat Bearnos. His worries lead him to reaching out to an old friend, someone who has defended Jesuit since the beginning...in the shadows. It's safe to say, we're in the Jendgame now.
This is the story behind the birth of a studio and the cinematic saga that took Jesuit by storm, from Jayman to Jendgame.
It all started back in October, when Student Body President Wilson Frischhertz had an idea: what if Jesuit had its own superhero? He pitched a short hype video starring Wyatt Mire as Jayman, designed to fire up the crowd at the Fall Sports Pep Rally in the Benson Arena. The result? Instant legend. Jayman became a Blue Jay icon overnight.
Seeing the impact of that video, Wilson began thinking bigger. His next idea was a Star Wars-inspired saga called Jay Wars. He wrote two full scripts, assembling a cast that featured Ethan Lapeze, Brewer Nitcher, Fr. Joseph, and many more. The two-part film premiered at the Winter Sports Pep Rally and was a massive hit, drawing applause, gasps, and a 99% Rotten Tomatoes score.
But Wilson wasn’t done yet.
On the bus ride home from a lacrosse game in Texas, he started writing the next big project: Javengers: Jinfinity War. Filming began during third quarter exams and quickly grew into an epic. Over 15 cast members joined in, making it Gizzard Studios’ biggest production yet. When the 16-minute film premiered, the Commons was packed.
Then came the final act: Javengers: Jendgame. More than 30 seniors came together to film the 30-minute finale. It premiered first to the senior class on their last day, earning thunderous applause. The next Friday, the whole student body gathered in the Commons for the final showing. Cheers, laughter, and even a few tears filled the room.
All of these films were produced by Gizzard Studios, guided by Mr. Peter Flores ’09, Jesuit’s Director of Student Communications. He was joined behind the scenes by freshmen Jax Dagley and William Truxillo, helping bring these stories to life.
