Grubbin' with Grant: Taking On G's Pizza
No better place in the heart of Mid-City for a slice like G's pizza.
In this issue of Grubbin’ with Grant, I took on G’s Pizza. Located in the heart of Mid-City, I’ve heard my fair share of delightful reviews about this pizza joint. After tackling the frights and monsters of the mortuary, my friends and I took the two block journey to this restaurant for some late night grubbin. The eatery had a nice atmosphere and felt comfortable.
After being seated, I scanned the menu very intently and decided upon the Bienville Supreme. This particular za caught my eye because of the Italian sausage, mushrooms, and black olives. Upon its timely deliverance to my table, I was struck by the beauty of it. It looked like it was made by very caring and professional hands. The crust was right in between thin and thick, exactly how I like it.
“The pizza dough was fire,” a friend remarked. I was downing slices without even realizing it.
The pizza was delicious, albeit a little greasy. “The pizza dough was fire,” a friend remarked. I was downing slices without even realizing it. Overall it was pretty good, not the best pizza I’ve ever had by any means, but still a very valid spot for some good eats. I know this will raise disapproval in my status as eating emperor, but it must be said, pineapple on pizza is kinda good.
My friend showed me the light one day, and while I probably wouldn’t order it on my own, I wouldn’t deny a slice either. After deliberation with my associates, we decided that it is indeed grubbin’ approved
