Battle Bots in the Commons!!

All of lunch in the commons, April 6th!

The Jesuit Robotics team is hosting a BattleBots style showdown in the commons. Come out to see it on April 6^th. The State winning robot will be competing against Hammer Bot. This showdown starts at the beginning of lunch and will go all the way to the end of lunch. A 12ft x 12ft field will be placed in the center of the commons. Even a betting table will be present immediately before the competition starts. Bets start at $5 with a max bet of $150! Our first contestant is Hammer Bot. Hammer Bot is an 18in x 18in, 10lb robot. He is equipped with a 14in long nose that holds his specialty, a HAMMER. Hammer Bot plans to use his heavy weaponry to dispose of the competition! Hammer Bot’s opponent is the Robotics team’s state winning bot. It is 18in x 18in roughly 30lb bot. This bot is considerably heavier, so it will be able to shove around Hammer Bot. However, Hammer Bot is still favored to win this close competition because of its weapon. Once again, witness this major event on April 6^th for the entire lunch.
